3 Million TL Investment in 3D Printer Project of Turkish Entrepreneurs

Turkish startup Co Print, which managed to raise a fund of 100 thousand dollars through Kickstarter last November, received a seed investment of 3 million TL. Founded by two 22-year-olds, the venture attracted a total of 1,587 investors.

In the past weeks, we talked to you about a 3D printer initiative established in Turkey by two Turkish young people. Founded by Fatih Kazım Duymaz and Hüseyin Özen, the initiative called Co Print has completed a big gap in the three-dimensional printer industry, pressing 7 colors at the same time able to write and had developed a module that was compatible with most 3D printers. The startup managed to raise $100,000 in just 36 hours in the campaign launched on Kickstarter.

Here is another great news from that initiative today. Founded by 22-year-old young people, Co Print managed to receive an investment of over 3.5 million TL in the Share Based Crowdfunding campaign launched through the fundfinder. The initiative, which managed to exceed the targeted funding of TL 2.5 million, A total of 3,701,276 TL investment demand from 1,587 investors collected. Valuation of the company with this investment 26 million 750 thousand TL reached.

3 million TL seed investment transferred to the startup today

Co Print, which also managed to be the first Turkish startup to receive the ‘Project We Love’ badge given by Kickstarter to selected projects, started with the crowdfunding investment tour carried out on the fund finder, 200 thousand TL investment from Fonbulucu GSYF and 50 thousand TL investment from Ankara Development Agency. Completed in 405 minutes. 1587 investors became partners of the venture.

Although 3.7 million TL investment demand was collected during the fundraiser campaign, the fund to be transferred to Co Print, which is the limit of the share offered in accordance with the MKK legislation. It was registered as 3 million TL. Today, all 1587 investors have been distributed and the funds collected have been transferred to the venture. Co Print co-founder Fatih Kazım Duymaz said the following about this success:

In the crowdfunding campaign launched on Kickstarter for the multi-filament 3D Printing module product in November, it has reached 64 different countries in 30 days. Pre-sale worth GBP 165,000 Co Print initiative, which entered the global market, aims to grow the team, complete the production development and R&D activities with this investment, and become a company that has a voice in the field of 3D printers in the global market, where it has made a strong entry.
