Mass production of the expected domestic car starts today. All eyes of Turkey are on the event in Gemlik today. As the SDN team, we also participate in this event. On the other hand, the CEO of the company, Gürcan Karakaş, made statements about the prices of the car before the event.
Karakaş: “It’s too early to set a price for Togg”
There are only minutes left for TOGG, Turkey’s domestic car. Mass production begins. However, it will be necessary to wait a little for the release date of the vehicle. Togg CEO Karakaş made a statement regarding the price of the car, taking this into account.
Karakaş mentioned that it would not make sense to talk about the full price of Togg already. Noting that it is not possible for any company in the automotive industry to set a price 5-6 months in advance, Karakaş stated that they do not set a price for the Togg.
Gürcan Karakaş made the following statements in his statement;
We have always shared every step of the trade secret on social media. We shared our colors yesterday. We represent Turkey with our colors. It is not possible for any company in the world to set a price 5-6 months in advance. Therefore, we have not made a decision about the price of Togg.
We entered the Togg factory minutes before mass production!
Just minutes before Togg starts the mass production process, we tour the factory and the venue.
On the other hand, Karakaş stated that the Togg car, which will start mass production today, will be on the roads in March next year. Work is underway for the car from all sides. So much so that Togg established two companies, Siro and TruGo, to manufacture batteries and charging stations. We know that both companies have completed their testing activities by producing their first prototypes before the mass production process. Even the station installations have started.
