Another Turkish artist fell victim to NFT thieves!

There is no one who has not heard the term NFT, which has become very popular lately. These tokens, which we can explain as a unit of data stored in a digital ledger called a blockchain, confirming that a digital asset is unique and therefore not interchangeable, have now begun to appear in all areas of our lives.

There are also important studies on NFT in our country. So to speak, we can say that theft incidents broke out in this area where serious money was returned. Finally, the famous Turkish artist announced that his account on the platform where he sold NFT was seized and his money was stolen.

Turkish artist shocked by NFT robbery

Turkish digital artist Alemşah Öztürk announced that his OpenSea account was hacked and 43 Ethereum was stolen.

Yılmaz Aslantürk’s OpenSea account hacked

As it will be remembered, famous designer Alemşah Öztürk announced yesterday that his account on OpenSea, the NFT trading platform, was seized, all his works were sold, and the 42 Ethereums obtained were transferred to a different account and stolen.

Not long after this statement, another Turkish artist became the victim of NFT thieves. Yılmaz Aslantürk, known for his comics, announced that his OpenSea account was hacked and he lost all his money from sales.

In addition to this, AslanTürk, who stated that he contacted the crypto money wallet MetaMask and OpenSea platforms that he used without wasting time, said that he could not get the answer he expected from both sides.

Finally, it should be noted that Yılmaz Aslantürk did not disclose the exact amount of money he lost to the hackers.

Yılmaz Aslantürk’s statements are as follows;

My account at OpenSea was hacked and all my money from NFTs I sold was stolen. Neither OpenSea nor Metamask responded. They just sent the link on their support page and that’s it. I said goodbye to the NFT world when I was just at the beginning of the road.

Worst of all, as the work on my page is sold, it will end up in the thief’s wallet. Because deleting jobs there also costs money. It will be automatically deleted after 6 months.

So what do you think about this subject? How do you think cyber attacks on crypto money and NFT platforms can be prevented? Do not forget to share your views with us in the comments section or on the SDN Forum.
