Tesla with delivery record – Experts’ expectations exceeded

Despite the chip crisis, the electric car manufacturer Tesla delivered more vehicles than expected in the third quarter and set a new record. According to its own information, the US company sold 241,300 units from July to September. That is an increase of 73 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year and an increase of 20 percent compared to the previous quarter.

Analysts had only expected 229,242. It’s the sixth quarter of gains for Tesla. Production rose in the three months by 15 percent to 237,823 vehicles compared to the previous quarter.

The e-car manufacturer recently pushed his employees to their peak performance. Employees should make an effort to deal with production problems early in the third quarter. Like the entire industry, Tesla has felt the bottlenecks in memory chips. The industry is currently particularly suffering from the fact that factories in Malaysia and Thailand had to close in the fight against the corona pandemic.
