As we have shared with you before, the year 2022 brought with it very annoying increases; The hikes, which will be reflected in the electricity and natural gas bills, were included in the duplicate issue of the Official Gazette on the last day of 2021.
While the citizens could not digest the hike in fuel, as soon as the new year entered, the reactions from the social media were not delayed when it was announced that there would be an increase of up to 130 in electricity and a 25 percent increase in natural gas.

According to the decisions taken, a 150 kWh limit was introduced for households in electricity, and it was announced that different tariffs would be charged for subscribers who fall below or above this specified amount. Accordingly, the price was determined as 1.37 TL/kWh for users below the 150 kWh limit, while the price was determined as 2.06 TL/kWh for consumers who exceeded the 150 kWh limit.
