The SEC is demanding everything that was discussed at its meetings with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and co-founder Christopher Larsen and other senior executives regarding the current lawsuit.
Looking at the PDF file attached to Filan’s tweet, it appears that it includes a request directly from the SEC to court-secretary Sarah Netburn.
The document states that Ripple has already agreed to file these records regarding the case with the court on August 30. Despite this, the fact that Ripple did not deliver the files caused reactions.
The SEC’s emphasis on these records raises suspicion and it is thought that Ripple is hiding something.
However, it may be purely mutual obstinacy, and Ripple seems to be taking revenge for not providing the documents it once requested from the SEC.
The XRP price is currently unaffected by these.
