At this point, we decided to discuss with a representative from alliances and parties what they plan and promise about technology, taxes on technological devices and brain drain, which are closely related to all of us, especially the youth. In addition, these representatives election security We also asked how to get it. Our first guest is the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party, which is in the People’s Alliance. Hamza Mountain.

Without further ado, let’s leave the word to our guest and start with the first question:

1- Will taxes on technological products be removed? Why if it won’t be removed permanently?

”We have received many requests from our young people to make computers and mobile phones cheaper for us and our President. We have taken this request into consideration. One-time purchase of mobile phones and computers for our youth in higher education. tax exemption we will provide. We will not be content with this, we will present 10 GB of internet per month to each of our young friends so that our young people do not lose their connection with the digital world.

‘The reason why taxes on technological products are not permanently removed…’

“Computers and mobile phones play an important role in maintaining scientific studies and activities and providing access to information, as well as being the most important phase of communication. Therefore, I think that the support provided by the state to these technological products, which have become a part of education, will be an initiative that will alleviate our youth financially. Permanent tax abolition the most important reasons On the other hand, I can express it as preventing the increase in the current account deficit and supporting domestic production.

2- What kind of technological infrastructure do you work with within the scope of election security? What security measures have you taken, how reliable are these security measures?

“The number of ballot boxes, the number of ballots, the criteria necessary for a game to be valid and the procedures for counting the votes are clear. At the head of each ballot box, together with the officials of each political party, the heads of the ballot boxes take place. as a result election result, each game in itself is also evaluated whether it is valid or invalid. As in every election, this election process also Supreme Election Board (YSK) It is carried out within the framework of the standards determined at the world scale. With the advancing technology, the YSK has updated and is updating its works on all electoral issues in a way that keeps up with the spirit of the time. The bags containing the votes are sealed with the signatures of the officials at the ballot box and the heads of the ballot boxes, and they are sent to the election board together with the minutes kept.

‘We are trying not to give an opportunity to any doubt about election security’

At this point, the YSK and the Ministry of Interior meticulously fulfill their responsibilities step by step. It is possible for each ballot box official to compare the results of his/her ballot box with the data available on the YSK’s website. If there is an inconsistency that emerges with this comparison, the way of objection is also open at this point. International observer reports regarding the previous elections also indicate that there is no risk regarding election security in Turkey. In the light of these reports, we can strongly state that the YSK is a competent and reliable institution. We, as politicians, in our country election security We try not to give an opportunity to any doubt about it.”

3- What do you think about the brain drain? What plans do you have to prevent or reverse this?

brain drain

“We live in a global world without borders. Our young minds We are not against them going abroad to improve themselves. In the projects we carry out, we send our young engineers abroad with scholarships so that they can receive education there and develop themselves. Then they return to Turkey equipped and contribute to these projects. When they return, we employ our own young people and engineers in these fields.

I think we are at a very different point compared to the past in areas such as software, innovation and digitalization. Yearly R&D We increased our budget. Likewise, as a result of the investments made in our youth, we always see our young engineers at the forefront of our projects, which today have many proud images. We will continue our scholarships in the upcoming period and support the participation of our young people in projects. We will ensure that technological systems from abroad are brought to our country, we will invite experts in various fields to our country, and we will ensure that young people benefit from them. By involving our young people in more international projects, we will enable them to represent our country, so we will continue to experience national pride.”

4- Finally, why should someone who loves technology, follows closely and wants to reach the latest technology vote for you?

”We are a country that unfortunately could not catch up with the reforms and transformations in history or it was too late. With the will we have demonstrated in the last 21 years, our country in industry and logistics infrastructure We have shown that we do not watch these developments from afar in such a process where technology develops rapidly by covering significant distances, but on the contrary, we are partners in these global breakthroughs.

Türkiye has been producing technological wonders lately. Within the scope of the National Technology Move, we have made technological breakthroughs in our country in many areas. The world’s first SİHA ship TCG Anadolu entered the inventory of the TAF. We are a country that the world envy about UAVs and SİHAs. Thanks to our exports in this field, we contribute to the economic development of our country. We sent İMECE, our first domestic and national satellite, into space. We have identified our two passengers who will go to space. Our scientists are working at our Antarctic science base. A few months ago, we sent our three high school students who were ranked in TEKNOFEST to Antarctica with our scientists to test their projects, and we gave them a great experience. We showed the importance we attach to the environment by producing our electric vehicle TOGG, within the scope of zero emission technology target. Similarly, with the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, we brought the green energy technology that developed countries have been using for years to our country.
