The Giant Company Finally Announced: Its New Initiative Has Come to Life on This Altcoin Network!

Blockchain platform for the non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace of video game vendor GameStop ImmutableX (IMX) altcoin It was announced that it was officially operational on the network.

The partnership was first announced in February, and the GameStop NFT platform has been operating as a public beta since July.

The official launch will allow marketplace users to access Web3 games currently built on ImmutableX, including Gods Unchained, Guild of Guardians, and Illuvium, as well as additional NFT game assets.

According to its developers, the tier 2 scaling product could facilitate “100% gas-free and carbon-neutral mining and trading” in the GameStop NFT market, making it an attractive solution for players new to Web3 games.

The two platforms have been working together on various initiatives since February. These initiatives include a $100 million grant to Web3 developers and projects like integrating ImmutableX into the GameStop NFT marketplace wallet.

GameStop has been working on developing the Web3 integration suite for the past year. In May, the company launched its own crypto and NFT wallet.

In July, it engaged tier 2 scaling product Loopring to process transactions for its beta marketplace launch, generating $7.2 million in sales in its opening week.

Finally, the company cryptocurrency exchange announced that it will soon form a partnership with FTX.

Jonathan Reedy, vice president of strategic partnerships at ImmutableX, said in a statement that both companies aim to attract new Web3 players by offering training materials and organizing face-to-face and virtual games in the future:

“ImmutableX hopes to create a gaming environment that no longer thinks of blockchain games in terms of wallets, bridges, chains, and rollups, but instead where true digital ownership and entertainment are central to the gaming experience.”
