Geneva Russian President Vladimir Putin staged his power with a grand military parade on May 9, the day Russia celebrates victory over Nazi Germany. At the same time, however, Russian troops are making little headway in the sieges of cities in Ukraine, and even in the already occupied areas, the population is resisting.

Mark Kimmitt, retired Brigadier General D. of the US Army, relentlessly assesses Russia’s military performance in the illegal war of aggression in Ukraine. The former Assistant Secretary of State for Politico-Military Affairs stresses that the use of tactical nuclear weapons is part of Russian conventional warfare.
