WhatsApp announces new features

As it is known, WhatsApp has been testing many functions such as using the same account on two different phones, saving media manually, deleting messages by group administrators and reacting with emojis.

The platform has announced that some of the features that have been tested for a while are now available. According to this; The maximum number of people that can be added to groups has been increased to 512. It should be noted that this feature will be introduced gradually.

The ability to react with emojis is now available with the latest version. Saying that emojis are fun, fast and at the same time reduce the overload in groups, WhatsApp stated that the number of emoji, which was limited in the first place, will be increased in the future.

One of the issues that users complained about the most was the 100 MB file sharing limit. WhatsApp has announced that this limit has been increased to 2 GB as of now. Stating that this change will be especially useful for small businesses and school groups, the platform will now show users how long the transfer process will take during the upload and download process with the help of a counter. Apart from this, it is also recommended to use Wi-Fi rather than mobile data for large files.
