The excitement of Teknofest 2023 continues at full speed at Atatürk Airport. As the SDN team, we both visited Teknofest and examined TEI’s $1,800,000 aircraft engine.
Turkish engineers who produced the $ 1,800,000 aircraft engine are at Teknofest!
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TEI) will exhibit its domestic aviation engines at TEKNOFEST, organized for the 6th time this year. The festival not only showcases the latest engine technologies, but also offers visitors the opportunity to experience it first hand. TEI will showcase its capabilities in all areas of the aviation industry, including national aviation engines, and will share the progress Turkey has made in this area with the participants.
TEI, the main organizer of the Jet Engine Design Competition, which is held every year as part of TEKNOFEST, will announce the winners of the competition in Istanbul. It will also host the TEI-TJ90 Turbojet Engine assembly competition within the scope of the festival, which will be held at Atatürk Airport between April 27 and May 1.
Visitors to the TEI stand will have the opportunity to examine Turkey’s first mobile gas turbine engine test brake, which was designed, manufactured and commissioned entirely locally by TEI engineers and technicians. Brake will conduct tests on the core engine of Turkey’s first national helicopter engine, TEI-TS1400, during the festival.
