Google released the Android 15 developer preview version in February and released the Beta 1 version last month. Now, right after the Google I/O event, Android 15 Beta 2 has been released to users for Pixel devices with new features. Of course, Android phone manufacturers also took action and announced compatible devices. Here are the features and compatible phones coming with Android 15 beta 2…
Android 15 Beta 2 brings many new features
At the recently held Google I/O event, in addition to dozens of artificial intelligence-focused features, the company also released the second beta version of Android 15 for Pixel devices. A total of twelve Android manufacturers decided to introduce the beta version to users. The beta can be downloaded on limited devices for now, but unfortunately it has not been released for any Samsung Galaxy phones.
One of the most important features coming with Android 15 Beta is “Private Space”. Working similar to Samsung’s Secure Folder feature, the innovation allows you to collect your files or applications in one place by adding extra security. This folder can only be accessed by passing the security stage.
Giving extra place to security features, Google announced “Theft Detection Lock” with the new beta. This feature, which works with artificial intelligence developed by Google, automatically locks the phone to protect your information when it detects unauthorized access to your phone.
Here are the features that come with Android 15 Beta 2:
- Special area
- Better multitasking on foldable phones and tablets
- Picture-in-Picture PiP
- Personalized widget previews
- Predictive return
