OPPO is one of the companies that made good use of the chances it had with Xiaomi after Huawei was blacklisted in 2019 on the grounds that it had direct links with the Chinese state. According to the Canalys report published in the past days, the company, which has a market share of 10 percent, ranks fifth in this field.
OPPO, which has gained the appreciation of users especially with its phones with under-screen camera technology, is working on the new Reno series, as it does every year. However, the allegations that emerged are that the company has taken a decision that will upset the users at this point.
OPPO Reno 7 Pro+ can be shelved
As it will be remembered, the Reno 6 series was on the showcase in May. Standing out with its powerful features, the series naturally came to the fore with its most powerful model, the Reno 6 Pro+. However, according to the allegations made in recent days, OPPO will not include the Pro + model in the Reno 7 series, which it is preparing to launch in the coming months.
Known for its reliable leaks in the smartphone industry, Digital Chat Station claimed that there will be no Pro + model in the Reno 7 series, instead, the standard and Pro models will come up with serious upgrades in terms of screen, camera and processor performance.
For now, let’s say that this is just an allegation. Because it is a matter of great curiosity whether OPPO will shelve a model that is very satisfied with its sales figures, especially in the Chinese market.
There is currently no clear information about when the Reno 7 series will be introduced. However, the company, which launched the Reno 6 models in the first half of 2021, may accordingly showcase the Reno 7 series in the first half of 2022.
