Elliot Sharod and his wife, Helen, were flying to the UK after their wedding in South Africa on 17 April. Although the couple bought connecting tickets in Abu Dhabi and Frankfurt, the route changed due to the pandemic.
Although they returned to the UK as a result of the change in route, their luggage disappeared. Since Sharod places AirTags in each of her bags, just in case, she searched where the bags were through the Find application. According to his research, although the bags went to Frankfurt, they were not put on the plane to England.
The airline that operated the flight, Aer Lingus, said the bags would be returned, and only delivered 2 of the 3 bags the next day. Although Sharod applied to the company for the other bag, no one responded. Sharod then decided to file a complaint on Twitter and prepared a PowerPoint presentation with screenshots showing exactly where her missing bag was.
He told CNN that the bag had been found in two different places in Pimlico and had not moved since April 21. When the airline did not return, Sharod thought the bag was stolen and contacted the police. In his last statement, he stated that the bag was found.
