Hepsiburada introduced its Drone Delivery for the first time on the first day of the SDN Summit, of which it is the main supporter. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır visited the area where the test flight took place, received information about the project and expressed his wishes for success. Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin was also present at the event as one of the main speakers.

Hepsiburada introduced its Drone Delivery for the first time, for which it was one of the main sponsors, at the SDN Summit event held at the Haliç Congress Center on 27-28 April 2024. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, who visited the demonstration area where the test flight took place, received information about the project from Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin.

Kacır expressed his satisfaction with the project and thanked those who contributed. As part of the testing, a trial delivery was also made in the garden of the Haliç Congress Center. When the project is completed, orders placed through Hepsiburada will be delivered to the recipient within minutes by drone.

Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin also made a speech in the opening part of the event, which attracted great interest from technology lovers. In his speech, Gökçetekin shared his views on technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Reminding that the e-commerce story in Turkey is parallel to Hepsiburada’s story, Gökçetekin stated that they focus on the constructive, not destructive, power of technology with the vision of digitalizing commerce and aim to create a positive social impact for all their stakeholders.
