The cryptocurrency exchange will remove Monero (XMR), one of the controversial Blockchain projects, from its list as of September 19. Huobi has decided to delist Monero and other privacy coins due to regional compatibility. The Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange also has offices in South Korea, Japan, USA, Hong Kong and Turkey. The exchange is also known for its proximity to all local and regional compliance regulations.

According to the official announcement, Huobi Global will no longer have the following privacy-focused cryptocurrencies on its list.

  3. Monero (XMR)
  4. Verge (XVG)
  5. Horizon (ZEN)
  6. Decred (DCR)
  7. FIRO
