Dresden: This judge sends unvaccinated people out of the room! | Regional

Dresden – Sixth day of negotiations in the flower trial for city councilor Daniela Walter (49, CDU).

According to the public prosecutor’s office, between 2015 and 2017, the ex-local council chief of Dresden-Weißig should not have handed over the bouquets and / or monetary gifts intended for their birthday or marriage anniversaries in 55 cases. However, she acknowledged receipt on lists from the administration.

Noteworthy in the trial on Monday: Judge Rainer Gerards (61) apparently wants to do without a witness from the Weißig administration: “If nobody is double vaccinated here, he will not come in here. In this case, witnesses are not available for us, ”said the judge in the process. He even sent an unvaccinated bystander out of the courtroom.

Instead, the investigating criminal investigation officer testified: “It was shocking that after the originally suspected three cases, 16 out of 17 anniversaries had received nothing in one month alone.”

The judge is considering, however, discontinuing the proceedings for some of the accused – since not all seniors could be heard because of their old age and two anniversaries later corrected their statements.

But for now the process will continue.
