Thunderbolt Share can connect almost any hardware between two computers
As you know, operations such as moving the mouse cursor between screens or dragging and dropping files are normally possible by connecting a USB cable between two computers, but with Intel’s new Thunderbolt Share system, this process can be done much faster.
When you install this application on two Thunderbolt 4 or 5 compatible computers and connect with a Thunderbolt cable, you will be able to share your mouse, keyboard, displays, storage units and other USB peripherals, drag and drop files at Thunderbolt speed and synchronize data. Please note that this system will not support internet connection sharing.
Intel also says you can mirror one computer’s screen to another at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second with low latency.
Jason Ziller, Intel’s Thunderbolt manager, stated that the application does not require a Thunderbolt-certified computer or Intel processor: “USB 4 and Thunderbolt 3 connections may work, we just don’t really guarantee it, we won’t provide support for it.”
