Dortmund The times when entrepreneur and investor Tillman Schulz could walk the streets undetected should be over from Monday: The Dortmunder will be making his TV debut as a juror and investor in “Die Höhle der Löwen”. In the well-known television show, founders pitch for the money for their start-ups.

Schulz should be particularly interested in new food companies. Few people are familiar with the family business MDS Holding, which he manages in the third generation with his cousin Moritz Schulz. But many people have certainly eaten his dips or focaccia: Every German has had “at least one of our products in their kitchen,” says the 33-year-old.

The entrepreneur applied himself to the Vox show. So far, investor Ralf Dümmel in particular had been targeting consumer goods start-ups, who also called “Mr. called “Shelf”. Schulz now wants to “bring more excitement to the show” as an opponent.
