GSR Capital has received UK approval to develop new products that enable institutional investors to invest in cryptocurrencies.
Thanks to the approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, GSR Capital will be able to develop products that will enable private companies, family offices and other institutions to invest in cryptocurrencies.
Founded by ex-executives of Goldman Sachs, GSR was already working with crypto money companies such as Binance, Coinbase, FTX and providing liquidity to them as a market maker.

According to Jakob Palmstierna, CEO of GSR, this development will enable institutional companies to enter the cryptocurrency market more easily. Palmstierna, in his statements on the subject, said:
“Investors are desperately looking for where they can generate income. We think we are building something new that is unique in the industry and that will allow investors to enter the (cryptocurrency) industry.”
