Terra Rebels, the volunteer developer group behind the current 1.2% fee-burn proposal, official Terra Classic (LUNC) published the revitalization roadmap.
Terra Rebels lead developers Edward Kim and Alex Foreshaw outline 3 goals: “Rebuilding the Algorithmic Fungible Token (AFT), rebuilding the project ecosystem, and rebuilding independence.”
Terra Classic (LUNC) Volunteer Developers Announce the Altcoin Roadmap
Terra Rebels tweeted on September 29 that the official Terra Classic altcoin announced the release of the revitalization roadmap. The roadmap and white paper are available on the official website.
However, according to the developers, the roadmap may change as developments are made for the revitalization of LUNC.
The developers tweeted:
“We are delighted to publish the official Terra Rebel Roadmap to you. The roadmap can be easily viewed on our website at terrarebels.net. Please note that the roadmap is subject to change.”
During the emergency phase, Terra Rebels officially launched the Terra Classic Blockchain and LUNA token revival by re-enabling delegation and staking with the v22 upgrade successfully implemented on August 26.
Then, Terra Rebels’ management proposal 4661 was successfully accepted with a 99.88% “yes” vote, resulting in a 1.2% fee burn on all on-chain transactions as of September 21. However, 6 stages in the roadmap have been completed.

Rebuilding the Algorithmic Fungible Token (AFT)
Terra Rebels aims to release the Algorithmic Fungible Token (AFT). The developers will disable the old Terra swap mechanism and work on a new Terra swap mechanism to further reduce the total supply.
In fact, the old Terra swap mechanism was the reason behind the LUNA hyperinflation and the collapse of the UST algorithmic stablecoin.
Rebuilding the Project Ecosystem
Terra Rebels will be working on compatibility with Cosmos v45.8 and Tendermint v0.34 for re-enabling Inter-Block Communication (IBC) between Osmosis and Terra, Upgrades and Utilities for chain cleaning, and dApps and project support on the Terra Classic Blockchain.
Rebuilding Independence
Terra Rebels aims to make Terra Classic completely independent from Terraform Labs (TFL). The community is expressing their concern about the relationship between TFL, Do Kwon and Terra Classic.
The community of developers, validators, LUNC owners and others will have rights to Terra Classic. Terra Rebels is working on Light Client Daemon (LCD), Terra Station Wallet and Community Pool to be independent from TFL and Do Kwon.
