The official space agents of Turkey and the UAE came together today to sign a new memorandum of cooperation in the fields of peaceful use of space, space sciences, technologies and applications. After the event, a post was shared on social media.

Turkey Space Agency and United Arab Emirates Space Agency officials met in Dolmabahçe Palace today. The event was attended by Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies, and Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
According to the agreement between the two parties, knowledge, experience and technology will be shared, especially the training of qualified people in the field of space exploration, technologies and applications. This will include LEO flights, launching techniques, rocket and satellite technologies, whose development activities will be initiated together.
