Metaverse Move from Shiba Inu! The Fate of Meme Coin May Change!

The crypto market is trying to recover after a big drop. Many cryptocurrencies fell to their lowest levels in recent weeks. One of them, the Shiba Inu, started a downward move after hitting an all-time high of $0.000088 and failed to repeat its performance just a month ago.

Some crypto investors think the Shiba Inu will not survive due to its reputation as a ‘meme coin’. But recent developments on the Shiba side suggest that its long-term trajectory may be just taking shape.

According to reports, Shiba Inu will partner with William Volk, former vice president of Activision Studios, to create a game. Shytoshi Kusama, Project Leader at Shiba Inu, took to Twitter to announce the collaboration, but kept Volk’s name hidden. Kusama revealed Volk’s name in a later tweet, adding that he would be working directly with the AAA game studio. Kusama also thanked the token’s founder and the Shiba Inu community. “I am so grateful to you and the entire #SHIB army,” he tweeted.

Making a statement afterwards, Kusama announced that the anticipated game will initially be developed by Shiba Inu and will not include a blockchain. However, the blockchain version of the game will be built later using the decentralized network. Later in 2022, the project will include a metaverse repository functionality, but will take a different approach than the one taken by Facebook.

It is worth noting that William Volk has an impressive resume with over 36 years of experience in the video games industry.

This latest news from Shiba was praised by many market experts as Blockchain games are on the rise this year.

The Shiba Inu could be making a big comeback in its Metaverse development. SHIB’s community is comparatively larger than tokens such as SAND, MANA, ENJ, and ALICE, which have seen their value increase after migrating to the Metaverse.
