Kevin O’Leary Accuses Binance in US Senate, CZ Responds!

Kevin O’Leary was quick to respond from CZ when he claimed Binance was behind FTX’s collapse.

Kevin O’Leary, a Canadian entrepreneur and television star, recently spoke on CNBC about how he got $15 million to be a spokesperson for FTX.

In his final speech before the US Senate, O’Leary made interesting statements about the FTX collapse.

“One of the Two Giants of Cryptocurrency Bankrupted the Other”

US Senator Patrick Joseph Toomey Jr. During his testimony at the Senate session, he asked O’Leary what he thought had caused FTX’s downfall. O’Leary replied:

“I have an idea, but I don’t have the records. These two giants, which together own the unregulated market and do incredible growth in terms of growth, were at war with each other. And one deliberately bankrupted the other.”

O’Leary argued that Binance is a massive, unregulated global monopoly. He also argued that Binance had bankrupted FTX. However, it is known that the collapse of FTX was caused by the company’s improper use of customer funds.

O’Leary, in his written statement for the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee’s hearing on FTX’s collapse and fraud allegations, said, “We need to get to the bottom of what happened in FTX, cryptocurrencies We can’t let him cause us to give up on his great promise and potential,” he concluded.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao: “Kevin Is Not Very Intelligent”

It is known that O’Leary received $15 million to act as spokesperson for FTX. However, the famous name said that if Sam Bankman-Fried started a new venture, he would invest again.

However, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao responded to O’Leary in his statement on Twitter. Changpeng Zhao said Kevin O’Leary was “not very smart”.
