Huge artificial intelligence investment from Microsoft to Indonesia!

Microsoft, which has become the world’s most valuable company with its artificial intelligence investments, continues to shift into higher gear. Accordingly, Microsoft decided to make a huge investment in artificial intelligence and cloud computing in Indonesia.

Microsoft, which has become one of the leading companies in artificial intelligence, chose Indonesia for artificial intelligence investment. Within the scope of the project, Microsoft will invest 1.7 billion dollars in Indonesia in four years. This investment includes artificial intelligence infrastructure, cloud computing and artificial intelligence data centers.

Within the scope of the project, the company plans to provide artificial intelligence training to 2.5 million people within a year. Microsoft’s statement for artificial intelligence education covers the entire South East Asia geography. In Indonesia, 840 thousand people will be given this artificial intelligence training.

Microsoft’s visits to regional countries for artificial intelligence investment will continue. In this sense, it is expected that the company will announce major artificial intelligence investments in South East Asian countries. The number of people who will receive Microsoft artificial intelligence training in Indonesia is one third of the total number. Microsoft is expected to recruit the remaining trainees from countries such as Taiwan, Vietnam and Malaysia. However, it is not clear whether the company will establish data centers in other countries for artificial intelligence investment.

After this investment, the country will have a significant educated population in artificial intelligence. Indonesia, which stands out among developing economies, has started to compete with regional countries in information technologies in recent years.

In this sense, Microsoft artificial intelligence investment seems to be a significant plus for Indonesia. Recently, Apple CEO Tim Cook also visited Indonesia. Accordingly, Tim Cook announced last week that he was considering establishing facilities in Indonesia for production. For now, iPhone production is shifting from China to India. On the other hand, Apple is seeking to have more alternatives for production in the region.
