For Monika Rößiger it is therefore clear: “Without hydrogen produced in a climate-friendly manner, the energy transition cannot succeed.” She writes this in her new book “The Hydrogen Transition”. , in industry or in the field of mobility.

When Rößiger, who as a science journalist writes primarily about hydrogen and works as a non-fiction author, was in the final stages of her manuscript, her book took on a whole new meaning as a result of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine. The war showed industry and consumers “how risky and unwise dependence on fossil fuels is”.
