Sam Bankman-Friedalso pointed out issues such as confusion, which could also cause some technical difficulties at the beginning. The CEO predicts that some protocols will “replace” the transition and then a cleanup will be required.
“First of all, I think some forks will come after the transition. The community has to do the update to support the transition. While many people are ready for updates for this transition, I think many people are not. When you try to bulk update on a decentralized network, it will take some time for everything to fall into place.”
