bad Homburg According to circles, the hospital and medical group Fresenius wants to sell a 20 percent stake in its hospital division Helios. The company is working with US banks Bank of America and JP Morgan to explore potential buyers, Bloomberg news agency reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter. Helios could be valued at more than 15 billion euros including debt.

Private equity and infrastructure funds in particular are likely to be among the interested parties, it said. The considerations are still at an early stage and no final decisions have been made on the scope or timing of a possible transaction. Representatives of the companies mentioned did not want to comment on this.
