Dax returns initial gains

Frankfurt The Dax gave back its initial price gains on Thursday. At noon it was listed at 14,610 points and thus almost unchanged. On Wednesday evening it closed at 14,606 points after a loss of 1.5 percent. The MDax of medium-sized stocks fell by 0.3 percent to 31,432 points. The leading European index EuroStoxx 50 was 0.5 percent down at 3940 points.

Initially, the weaker oil price ensured slight gains. In the further course of the day, however, the negative factors again determined the stock market events with the high inflation and the ongoing war in the Ukraine. Tech stocks like Hellofresh, Zalando and Infineon were among the biggest losers in the Dax.
