Dax remains in the red – oil prices are falling

Frankfurt The German stock market starts the new week with losses. Around noon, the leading index Dax is down around 0.6 percent at 14,194 points. In the past week it had already lost a little over one percent and closed at 14,283 points on Friday.

The MDax and the leading European index EuroStoxx 50 each fell by 0.3 percent. The losers include growth stocks such as Hellofresh, Delivery Hero and Zalando. Among other things, negative analyst comments had an impact. Expert William Woods from the analysis company Bernstein considers the high discounts and marketing expenses of the meal kit distributor Hellofresh to be problematic.
