Frankfurt The corona crisis and the Ukraine war have made many companies realize how fragile their supply chains are and how dependent they are on memory chips from Asia, for example. As part of a partnership, Commerzbank and the Deutsche Telekom subsidiary T-Systems now want to help companies at least be able to react better to such problems in the future.
“We want to automate the supply chains of German industry throughout and integrate financial services at the same time,” said Commerzbank board member Jörg Oliveri del Castillo-Schulz in an interview with the Handelsblatt. “That’s a big hit – in my opinion, there hasn’t been a comparable offer in Europe so far.”
