According to the news of Taylan Özgür Dil from Hürriyet, Citroen has determined Turkey as the new center in competitive models. Continuing its activities under the umbrella of Stellantis, Citroen continues to work on an economic model that meets the expectations of our country, which ranks seventh after Europe and China in global sales.

Citroen CEO Vincent Cobée, who came to Istanbul last week, gave the good news of the new model at the meeting where he met with a limited number of journalists and announced that the launch will be held in our country at the end of June.

According to Vincent Cobée, Turkey is a very impressive market. It has a high potential with its young population, willingness to buy and different tastes. Expressing that they want to come up with a more accurate product that will meet the expectations of our country in this context, the CEO stated that the car they are working on is a model suitable for the surrounding markets, especially Turkey.

Vincent Cobée did not give much details about the model. However, he signaled that electric versions of the car could also be released in the future. Apart from this, Cobée stated that Turkey has the potential to become one of Citroen’s 5 biggest markets worldwide and that he will come to our country again next year. There is even a possibility that a second model will be launched in Turkey.
