Asus ROG Ally Extreme works out of the box!

As you know, AMD produces processors with embedded graphics units for many current game consoles. Powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor developed by Asus and AMD, Asus ROG Ally is much more performance and capable than the Steam Deck.

AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme is an 8 physical core processor. When we look at the internal graphics unit, it has RDNA 3 architecture and is powered by 12 processing units. The processor, which has 24 MB of cache, can work between 9 and 30 Watt power consumption values. The Asus ROG Ally is said to run at 15 Watts in performance mode. The battery of the product is 40 Wh.

Asus ROG Ally, which uses a 4th generation Nvme-based 512 GB SSD, has 16 GB DDR5 RAM. This ram is integrated with the motherboard. Supporting Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, Asus ROG Ally has Dolby Atmos and Hi Res audio support. It offers the most up-to-date support for wireless connections.

Coming with a 7-inch IPS LCD screen, Asus ROG Ally has Full HD resolution. The screen, which has a 120 Hz refresh rate, can offer 500 nits of brightness depending on the situation. The screen with sRGB color support will have a latency of 7 ms. Protected by Gorilla Glass Victus glass, Asus ROG Ally will weigh 608 grams.

Asus ROG Ally, which comes with the Windows 11 Home edition, will be able to run both Xbox Game Pass games and all games that can be played on Windows. Of course, you can also play the games on the Steam platform. It will have more support and more performance than Steam Deck.
