Apple Car has a very meaningful name within the company

Apple’s electric car project, Apple Car, was unveiled earlier this week. Nearly ten years of research and development have been brought to an end. The technology giant spent 10 billion dollars on this project. This project, which will never come true, had a very meaningful name within the company.

They call the Apple Car project “Titanic” within the company

The Apple Car project was called “Project Titan” within the company. However, it was reportedly referred to as “Project Titanic” by employees who did not believe in the project and thought it would be canceled as it really was.

Apple has never officially acknowledged that it’s trying to make a car, but many leaks and job postings over the years have revealed much of the work. The project appears to have been hampered by a series of personnel changes and disagreements in senior positions over what exactly the Apple Car should be.

While Zadesky, the person who first initiated the project, wanted to create an electric vehicle to rival Tesla, former Apple designer Jony Ive wanted to create a car with more autonomous capabilities.

Apple’s project team has reached more than 2,000 people. The team included expert engineers previously employed by organizations such as NASA and Porsche. The problematic project was eventually overwhelmed by many difficulties, such as how the vehicle would be produced.

What happened to the Apple electric car project? It is said that at the company’s last meeting, Apple Car was canceled and the team was disbanded.

But there appear to be some positive aspects, because some people involved in the Apple Car project plan to transfer what they have learned from Apple’s autonomous and artificial intelligence technologies to their current and future devices.

But it’s too early to tell whether it will be worth $10 billion. What do you think about the meaningful name of the Apple Car project within the company? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
