Honor, which is sold by Chinese companies OPPO and Huawei, has recently introduced its first foldable phones. Now comes the global market move from these two companies, especially from Honor.
Honor, which has gained a reputation as a sub-brand of Huawei in the industry, but was sold at the end of 2020 after the embargoes and pressures in the following process, increased its activity quickly as it broke the embargoes after the completion of the sale. The company, which started to bring products from every segment to the market, introduced its first foldable phone after attracting attention in the upper segment.

Honor Magic V comes to global market
Honor Magic V, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold series, was introduced in China about ten days ago, on January 18. While the company’s first foldable phone, the Magic V, did not leave any question marks on the performance side with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, it was extremely attractive with its OLED screen and three rear cameras with 50 Megapixel resolution.
This model, which has gained appreciation in its own country, can be presented to the global market at the MWC 2022 fair, which will take place between February 28 and March 3. Publishing a poster for the event of MWC, the world’s largest mobile industry fair, to be held in Barcelona, Honor wrote the slogan “The Power of Magic” in large fonts on the poster. The poster, which also includes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, heralded the entry of the Magic V model into the global market at first glance.
While the general opinion about this poster is that the Honor Magic V will be presented to the global market at the event, some sources also stated that we may see a new Magic series phone. While the company is not making a statement about the phone or the event at the moment, we can say that the phone costs 1,400 Euros in China. This price may be higher for Europe.
