Another Cryptocurrency Exchange Shut Down In Turkey: Will There Be Victims?

It is a well-known fact that Thodex and VeBitcoin crypto currency exchanges are in the minds of investors in Turkey.

The fact that the founder of one exchange was arrested for different crimes while the other was on the run shows that crypto exchanges in Turkey are always associated with danger in the minds of investors. Now it looks like a new one has been added to them.

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitrota, allegedly based in Kayseri, allegedly took down its shutters.

According to the information conveyed by Milliyet, the crypto money exchange named Bitrota managed to collect money from more than 30,000 people.

It is claimed that the money collected by the exchange is more than 1 billion TL.

It is stated that the system collapsed in a short time and the owner lost track of it, and it is reported that even Gökhan Zan’s brother is among the victims.

Milliyet stated that many complaints were made to the prosecutor’s office about the issue and that it was learned that KA and H.Ö, who is an Austrian citizen, established this exchange 3 years ago.

The duo, who brought this exchange to life under the name Endless Yazılım Teknoloji AŞ, made a serious advertising campaign around them for a crypto currency called “Talent”.

It is emphasized that the stock market is especially directed to Hatay and after establishing a luxury office there, it held meetings in many hotels.

In fact, all these fit the definition of a pyramid scheme exactly. The stock market, which promised 30% monthly earnings, increased it to 45% during the campaign period. Now more than 30,000 victims are waiting to receive their money.
