YouTube brings new video tabs!

YouTube announced the new design changes earlier this month. Changing the button designs, the company also overhauled the dark theme. The company, which aims to make it easier to use, now comes up with new changes.

YouTube gets rid of the clutter with new video tabs

The YouTube Team announced that the channel pages in the YouTube App will be redesigned, making it much easier to find all of the creator’s short videos, standard videos, and live streams.

In his post on YouTube, Twitter and Google Support page, he stated that new tabs will now be included in the channels. From now on, creators will have three new tabs at the top of their channels. These tabs consist of ‘Videos, Shorts and Live Broadcast’ sections.

YouTube makes it easy to use with its new design!

While YouTube aims to use the platform more easily with its innovations, it also includes new design elements.

Videos Tab: The channel will have a classic videos tab for mainstream long videos. In this tab, unlike the previous period, we will not be able to see Shorts and live broadcasts. Thus, it is planned to prevent the confusion experienced by people.

Shorts Tab: All short videos created by the creators will now be collected under this tab. Thus, users who want to watch short videos instead of long videos will be easier to use.

Live Stream Tab: As we all know, live broadcasts were previously available with all videos. Detecting live broadcasts among videos was a very tedious process. YouTube wants to solve this problem by collecting live broadcasts under a single tab from now on.

With its statement, YouTube has made these features available as of today. However, these features are expected to reach all users in a week. The new tabs that we will see first on mobile devices will then find a place for itself in the desktop version.

With this innovation, YouTube aims to put an end to the video confusion within the channels. So what do you think about the new video tabs introduced by YouTube? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
