Texas City, Berlin The sun beats down on the huge industrial site near Texas City, in the very south of the state of the same name. Annalena Baerbock is driven past dozens of huge tanks in an air-conditioned bus at walking pace. The German Foreign Minister wants to find out about the future of energy supply from the German company Advario on this Wednesday in September during her multi-day trip to the USA.

Of the more than 100 containers, one tank stands out; it shines bright white in the sun. It has just been completed and holds 70,000 cubic meters of ammonia – the largest tank of its kind in the world.
