According to data, whales collect altcoin project at low price

Litecoin has fallen steadily since peaking at $302 on November 10. The price drop brought LTC to lows of $131.50 on Jan. 10, after which there was a slight rebound. The data shows that during the month-long decline, whales filled their bags and hoarded at low prices.

At the time of writing, Litecoin was trading at $135.90, down 2.14% on the day. At its current price, LTC is down 67.09% from the all-time high of $412 reached on May 10, 2021. According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, Litecoin currently ranks 23rd after its recent declines.

Meanwhile, MimbleWimble may be available soon. Litecoin has been running on MimbleWimble (MW) since at least September 2019. While there was once a lot of interest, that has changed since the popularity of NFTs and DeFi. In September 2020, the first MW testnet was launched after months of waiting. However, the project was blocked due to repeated delays. Robbie Coleman, creative director of the Litecoin Foundation, stated that MW is ‘currently in its final code review’.
