Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, at the beginning of 2021 Instant and Continuous Transfer of Funds (FAST) had implemented the application. This very useful application allowed users to transfer money at any time of the day. Today, there was a development that closely concerns those who use FAST.
In the statement made by the Central Bank, it was announced that the FAST upper limit was increased to 50 thousand TL. Let us note that the current limit is 20 thousand TL.
The new limit will be valid from today
According to the statement, the limit is 50 thousand TL, As of today, December 21st will start to be used. In other words, citizens will be able to transfer money up to 50 thousand TL at any time of the day with a single FAST transaction. The central bank, Up to 100 thousand TL at a time for dynamic verification workplace payments to be made using FAST-TR QR code. It says action can be taken.
We should point out that the new limit of 50 thousand TL is for a single transaction. In other words, those who want to send more than 50 thousand TL will be able to do this by making two different FAST transactions.
