Ubisoft has exciting news for Assassin’s Creed Mirage fans; The game will receive a major free update in December. The update will introduce the highly anticipated New Game Plus mode, providing players with a new and challenging way to experience the immersive world of the game.

Permadeath mode is coming to Assassin’s Creed Mirage as well as New Game Plus

In addition to New Game Plus, Ubisoft is adding an optional permadeath mode that appeals to ‘expert assassins’ looking for an even more intense and unforgiving gaming experience. Permadeath mode is a challenging mode that allows you to start from the beginning even if you die once.

The announcement was made via Ubisoft’s official Twitter account: “We hear you: New Game+ mode for Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available in a free update this December. And for expert Assassins, an optional permadeath mode will come with NG+, available on all difficulties! More details to come soon.”

It is obvious that this news will excite the Assassin’s Creed community and offer a new perspective on the game for both newcomers and experienced players.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage, released in October, became Ubisoft’s best-selling game during the launch period for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S generation. Despite its success, Ubisoft has previously stated that it has no plans for additional DLC for the game. However, the announcement of the upcoming free update shows Ubisoft’s commitment to improving the player experience even after the initial release.

A 20-minute gameplay video from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which Epic Games first gave away for free and then took it back, was shared.

Although Ubisoft has announced that it does not plan additional story content for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the gaming community is aware that plans may change. Other studios, such as Square Enix, initially denied DLC plans but later surprised fans with the announcement of expansion packs. In the case of Final Fantasy XVI, Square Enix revealed two expansion packs while stating that no DLC was planned, highlighting the unpredictable nature of the gaming industry.

Therefore, we may see an additional story for Assassin’s Creed Mirage in the future. What are you thinking? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
