Social media analyst Jane Manchun Wong shared the new features she discovered with her followers. Accordingly, the tweet edit button, which is about to be developed by Twitter, brings the entire editing history with it.
The time and date part of the shared tweets, on the other hand, changes after the editing. Right next to it, there are two different phrases: “Edited” or “There is a new version of the tweet”.
In addition, there will not be only text editing in the shared tweet. For example, we will be able to change everything available in the share, including the attached media. But let’s say that this feature, which is already shared with some beta users, does not yet give as good results as intended.
Because, as Wong stated, according to the experiences of some beta users, the current edit button displays as if we are replying to a tweet instead of changing the media or content in the original tweet. However, it is expected that this situation will be corrected in a short time.
