Twitter is changing its feature that allows you to share only one type of media file in the posts you share. You can now share posts that contain GIFs, videos, and photos at the same time.
All social media platforms pass on some of the features found in another, something that has been happening for years. For example, the biggest example is Instagram trying to become TikTok right now. There has been a similar development on Twitter recently.
Alessandro Paluzzi, known for his leaks on technology, shared a photo of the new feature coming to Twitter. This new feature that Twitter is currently testing makes the application somewhat will turn it into facebook but not in a bad way.
Twitter brings video, GIF and photo sharing feature at the same time
Twitter used to allow you to use only one of the photo, GIF and video media types in the posts you shared until now. In fact, while you can use four photos in the same post on the site, you could only use one video and GIF.
With this new feature tested by Twitter, you can both share different media files in the same post and have a maximum of four media types. You can share as much as you want.
Twitter has this to say about the new feature: “We’re seeing people engage in more visual conversations on Twitter and use images, GIFs and videos to make those conversations more exciting. We hope this feature can be used by people to express themselves more creatively on Twitter beyond 280 characters.”
