Bangkok A sweet energy drink made the Thai Yoovidhya clan one of the richest entrepreneurial families in Asia. But for nine years a death has overshadowed the success story of the co-founders of Red Bull: Vorayuth Yoovidhya, the son of the Thai Red Bull Patriarch Chalerm, rammed a police officer in his black Ferrari on an early Monday morning, who then died. The authorities accuse the billionaire son of reckless driving, resulting in death and drug use. The now 36-year-old has so far been able to evade justice: he has been on the run for years.
