Apple CEO Tim Cook, answered this curious question in an interview. In the interview, Cook was asked the question that perhaps everyone was wondering: Do you need a new iPhone every year? The CEO tells people every year to change their phones He said they made it possible.
“I think it’s great to offer an iPhone every year for people who want it. What we do is allow people to trade in/renew their phones. We buy those phones and resell them if they are still working. (…)”
