Those were the highlights in 2021

Dusseldorf The first episode went on air in mid-March: Since then, the sustainability podcast Handelsblatt Green has been looking at facts, trends and controversies about sustainability, the climate and the energy transition every Tuesday.

The moderators Kathrin Witsch, Kevin Knitterscheidt, Michael Scheppe and Mareike Müller discussed with their guests how Germany can achieve the green transition, how sustainable electric cars really are, how environmentally friendly flying can be, why energy prices have risen so sharply and how green the new coalition agreement really is.

The guests included, to name just a small selection, scientists such as Julian Nida-Rümelin, top managers such as ex-RWE boss Rolf Schmitz or Lufthansa board member Christina Foerster, author Frank Schätzing and meteorologist Sven Plöger.

In the last episode of 2021, the editors and producer Alexander Voss look back on their highlights from the first few months of Handelsblatt Green. They give a look behind the scenes, explain how topics are created and how the podcast episodes are produced.
