He sees the war in Ukraine as an accelerator of the energy transition. Germany must hurry, he warns. Unlike many others, he does not see nuclear power as a sensible source of energy.
Ukraine itself could play a crucial role in the third industrial revolution in the future. With its vast areas, the country could generate wind and solar power for hydrogen electrolysis and sell it via converted pipelines.
