A fake post was shared saying that after the attackers gain access to the Instagram account of the famous NFT collection, the account will be airdropped to LAND and that users must link their wallets to receive the airdrop.
Hackers took advantage of the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s plan to soon sell land for the Otherside Metaverse project. After users connected their wallets to the fake app and confirmed a transaction, their NFT fell into the hands of hackers.
