Ethereum rollup platform altcoin Arbitrum (ARB) Twitter account suspended today.
The company behind Arbitrum of Offchain Labs co-founder Harry Kalodner confirmed the suspension.

But he said he wasn’t sure about Twitter’s rationale. “The Arbitrum Foundation, which currently controls this account, is investigating the matter,” Kalodner said. Twitter’s rationale remained unclear at the time of writing.
Update: for reasons unclear to anyone, the *actual* @arbitrum account is (as of tweeting this) suspended; many, many scam accounts remain at large. Please be careful.
Really love what twitter’s doing, just great work all around. https://t.co/ruSdTlOrJw pic.twitter.com/0IYbhAXjEt

The suspension comes less than a week after the much-spoken launch of Arbitrum’s new ARB management token.
The ARB launch, like similar exciting token launches, was hijacked by scammers using fake social media accounts and elaborate phishing schemes to steal from unwitting ARB investors.
Many of these scam accounts are still live on Twitter. Arbitrum is a “Tier 2” rollup platform that allows users to transact on Ethereum with lower fees.
According to DefiLlama, it is currently the largest Ethereum rollup in terms of transaction volume and total value locked.
The Arbitrum DAO (decentralized autonomous organization), formed by ARB holders, took over the development of the platform last week with the launch of the ARB token.
Previously, the platform was officially maintained by the company Offchain Labs.
Togrhul Mahararramov, the developer of Scroll, another Ethereum rollup platform, described Twitter as “consistently awful.”
Arbitrum (ARB) token was trading at $1.1823, down 7 percent at the time of this writing.
