The integration process of the new locally produced munitions for Bayraktar Akıncı TİHA, which was developed nationally and originally by Baykar within the scope of the Akıncı Project carried out under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries, continues. In this context, Akıncı accurately hit the target in the test shot carried out with the LGK-82 (Laser Guidance Kit), which was developed locally and was fired for the first time from a UAV.
Bayraktar TB2 marked, Akıncı hit!
The national ammunition LGK-82, which was fired by Akıncı, which took off from Çorlu Airport Command and flew above the cloud at an average altitude of 30 thousand feet throughout the test, for the test fire carried out on Friday, July 1 with the LGK-82 (Laser Guidance Kit) developed by ASELSAN, is under the cloud. The flying Bayraktar TB2 SİHA’s laser-marked target hit the target with full accuracy.
LGK, which turns general purpose bombs into smart ammunition that hits its target from kilometers away thanks to laser marking, successfully completed its mission by being launched from an unmanned aerial vehicle platform for the first time in the test carried out by Akıncı.
Baykar presents Bayraktar TB2 to Ukraine!
The people of Ukraine started a campaign to purchase 3 Bayraktar TB2 SİHAs. Baykar, who learned this, gave the SİHAs as a gift.
Akıncı also carried the GÖZDE Guidance Kit, which was developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE and whose integration studies continue, under the wing during the LGK-82 test flight.
Bayraktar AKINCI B, who participated in the Anatolian Eagle Exercise, which ended yesterday and in which NATO elements also took part, successfully performed the tasks given in a realistic war environment. Akıncı participated in an exercise conducted by the Air Force for the first time with the Anatolian Eagle-2022 Training.
Akıncı, who has been operating operationally since 29 August 2021, when it entered the Turkish Armed Forces inventory, participated in the EFES-2022 Joint Shooting Actual Exercise held in Izmir Seferihisar in June.
Akıncı took off from the base where he was stationed in Batman and successfully fired at the targets determined in the Doğanbey Shooting Exercise Area in Seferihisar and returned to his base in Batman.
Export negotiations continue for Akıncı
Export contracts have been signed with 4 countries for Akıncı TİHA and with 22 countries for Bayraktar TB2 SİHA. While the deliveries of Bayraktar TB2 SİHAs continue within the scope of the contracts, Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA and ground systems are expected to be delivered periodically as of 2023.
Having exported 664 million dollars of S/UAV systems in 2021, Baykar became the company that exports the most in the field of defense and aerospace, according to the data announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly. Negotiations continue with many countries that are interested in the National TİHA Bayraktar AKINCI and Bayraktar TB2 SİHA.
